Still est un film d’animation en stop motion réalisé en deux temps : un premier de captation des mouvements de la jeune fille, un second pour photographier les collages effectués pour signifier ses gestes.
Still est un film portrait d’une jeune femme qui attend. La superposition des photographies permet de créer le mouvement ; plus, de le décomposer et de porter une attention plus posée sur celui-ci. La réalisation permet de distordre le temps, de marquer au sein de l’image le temps qui passe. Le film parle alors de la manière dont le corps bouge dans l’attente.

Still is a stop-motion animated film made in two steps: the first to capture the girl’s movements, the second to photograph the collages made to depict her gestures.
Still is a portrait of a young woman waiting. The superimposition of photographs creates movement; more, it breaks it down and focuses attention on it. The cinematography distorts time, showing the passing of time within the image. The film is about the way the body moves while waiting.
